A two year project (2022-2024) funded by International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) under the Safe Abortion Action Fund(SAAF).
Summary of the project objectives are to:
1. To strengthen the capacity of RMHCK to better advocate for the development of suitable SRHR policies Standards and Guidelines in Kenya
2. To support MOH to validate the BIG 5 clinical guidelines
3. To support the MOH to Strengthen PAC Health Systems in 10 Counties in Kenya
Achievements
Worked with MoH to develop ministry guidelines including: management of Direct causes of maternal mortality in Kenya & National Reproductive Health Selfcare Guidelines
Worked with KEMSA to consider inclusion of misoprostol and Mifepristone in management of bleeding in pregnancy including postpartum hemorrhage management
